"Ruby's Arms" and "On The Nickel" needed a home. Didn't have to be a good one. In defense of H&A, you see him trying to get out of the straightjacket he had imposed on himself. Definitely a transitional album that is the first step towards his later work. Personally, I love the one right after it, the ONE FROM THE HEART soundtrack. sh
