Hi, I used to have a videotape of that concert. It was actually a Zorn/Eye improv performance with Douglas guesting at the end of it. There was also a solo Eye segment, which was for me the most interesting, together with the sax-vocals duets. I would have never thought this was released and it sounds like it could be a non-official recording, specially considering that besides the all-star nature of the show, it wasn't that compelling. Best, Efrén del Valle n.p: JZ "Voices in the Wilderness" (Tzadik)
so here's another question, this one directly relevant to zorn (i don't think i've inquired about it before, but if i did the responses were wiped out when my computer crashed...). years ago i ordered from relapse records online catalog, and saw they had a zorn/douglas/eye 7". i got it right before a move, and forgot all about it until recently rediscovering it. i haven't even had a chance to listen to it. there's very little info on it other than the players names, and 'live at pecci museum, march 7, 1995. the sleeve has pictures of them on one side, and the other has crayon drawings. the label on the vinyl (green vinyl) also only has drawings and no other info. was this a legitimate release? does anyone have more info on it?
Dave
