Kevin Martin has been discussed a number of times on this list. Everyone remembers the wonderful compilations he did for Virgin in the early 90¹s (Jazz Satellites was so very good, shame Vol 2 died at birth).
Can anyone provide an update on his work (music and graphics) as of 2003?
A recent project of his is the Bug. There's a good interview with him about it here: <http://www.uncarved.org/dub/bug/bug.html> The Isolationism comp he did was pretty damn rad also. Shame that Virgin pulled the plug on him and David Toop (also creator of some great comps at that time). This is what Jazz Satellites 2 would have been: <http://wlt4.home.mindspring.com/adventures/articles/satellites.htm> Damn shame as it looks like it would have been great. I recently asked Martin if he was still interested in making it come to life and he said that while he'd support such an effort, he wouldn't have any time to work on it himself.
