I believe the original Electric Masada was a quartet consisting of Zorn, Ribot, Medeski and Wood. This was before MMW became a household name amongst the jam band nation. Always wished that lineup would have recorded or that Zorn would've kept it going as it was certainly ripping, particularly Ribot. I remembered those CBGB's gallery shows double billed with the Ruins: superb.

not dissing on yer english, just wondering. he played with his teeth or a
toothbrush? "playing" with his teeth is kinda showy for ribot, and a pretty
easy trick to (tho not as easy as playing behind your head).
