Hi, Let's see if someone can solve my mental mish-mash... I always took for granted that the "Smile" album was given up by Brian Wilson after months of work and that some of those tracks were re-recorded and included in "Smiley Smile". I have read, though, that a "Smile Sessions" box set was released in the late eighties or early nineties. I've never seen that box set in the stores here, nor have I heard about someone owning it in my area. However, a month ago I found a vinyl copy of "Smile" in a great record store in Barcelona. All the tracks carry liner notes and specifics about recording dates, etc, and the cover artwork matches the Capitol "release". The label is Sea of Tunes and the reference number is LP001 but I have no other info concerning this record. The guys at the record store aren't exactly the most informative, polite people on Earth, so asking them is just a waste of time. It feels strange to have an album that doesn't exist in theory and not know what this is all about, specially because I didn't pay a collector's item price (20.5 Â). Any ideas? Any Internet sources that could dissipate my doubts? Thanks in advance. Best, Efrén del Valle ___________________________________________________ Yahoo!
