If you want to read some very intersting stuff about Zorn and his background, I suggest William Duckworth's 'Talking Music'.
100% Seconded. A fantastic book, regardless of your particular interest in specific names. All the interviews are in-depth but very readable for non-musicians. Among the composers, Zorn, Glenn Branca, Steve Reich, Pauline Oliveros, Laurie Anderson, Lou Harrison, etc... What a list! Great read, especially when Zorn describes
the rather alarming way he started his massive record collection.
Sure! And they were vinyls!! I tried that method twice. The first time I came out of the superstore with "Elegy" under my shirt. The second one I was caught with some "Filmworks" volumes! I decided I'd go to the university and leave my criminal career aside! :-) Best, Efrén del Valle n.p: Sonic Youth "Sonic Nurse" (Geffen) ______________________________________________________________________ Yahoo! lanza su nueva tecnologÃa de búsquedas ¿te atreves a comparar? http://busquedas.yahoo.es
