overall, what was it like? As I grow older, i keep on appreciating LS more and more. I remember Patrice L.R. stating when i first joined that group some 10 yrs ago that it was his fave JZ album. I remember being a bit surprised by that opinion. By now, I seem to understand his point of view. I think that playing LS material live in the early '80s, when JZ was not a well-known avantgarde god, whom everything may be forbidden in the name of 'interesting experimenat' - I do not mean to diss anything zorn does now, rather the social resonance of his works, was an act of extreme courage of the artist. I just see them being sure that everyone must olve the music they do love so much - and making such complex feelings available to the listener is one of the most amazinfg things music can do I wonder then, what were the recent shows like? like the thins we have on the record? more pop? more clean? more hardcore? where there the cd samples included? I didn't see them in September, but I saw them yesterday at Tonic. They played Locus Solus as well as some other tunes. The best I think was Masada tune.
MG> Are my maths right in counting that it should come in 3 months?
Yes, but I was told 15 releases in a year and a half.
