I bought the initial BYG batch Nos. 1-4 (Art Ensemble, Cherry, Sun Ra, Shepp) on British Charly, only to see them all come out not much later at midprice on Fuel 2000. Since then, I figured I'd just wait and buy those as they appeared; there have only been two new one since then, if I'm not mistaken: No. 5, Dewey Redman's 'Tarik' and No. 6, Gato Barbieri/Abdullah Ibrahim 'Hamba Khale.' In this case, however, I don't think I'm going to pass this one up under the assumption that a domestic midprice version will reward my patience. I'd rather spend a few extra dollars, just to be sure. And I'm keeping a sharp eye out for more BYG Art Ensemble, from this or any other source. SHARROCK, SONNY: Monkey-Pockie-Boo CD (SPOT 504 CD).
Dusty Groove has this as well. Wonder if the entire BYG catalog will eventually appear?
