There was a 4 CD box of Smile material released on the bootleg label Vigotone. I surmise they receive a cease and desist order as they are no longer available. I always took for granted that the "Smile" album was given up by Brian Wilson after months of work and that some of those tracks were re-recorded and included in "Smiley Smile". I have read, though, that a "Smile Sessions" box set was released in the late eighties or early nineties. I've never seen that box set in the stores here, nor have I heard about someone owning it in my area.
