That's kind of my sense as well. 'Stellar Regions' definitely has that structural sketch quality that marks CPTB, CRESCENT, or, for that matter, KIND OF BLUE.
For me, great music always has a quality of sounding like the most natural thing ever done... i have thid impression listening to MD quintets (and extended quinetet), Zorn (Naked City, Fil stuff especialy), electronic pieces by Stockhausen, Stravinsky (now weren't the notes on L'Histoire du soldat the most evident), Eno, The Beatles ('Magical mystery tour' was one of the hits of this summer for me, along with anthrax 'among the living' and 'state of euphoria'), and many others works that are often an effect of intense work. It's as if I was to say 'of course, that's the way it should be done'. And I have similiar feelings towards SR. Marcin
