De-accessioning continues & rarities/oddities continue to
turn up (especially in the next few weeks) with lots of boxes to go
through still.
Right now I've got about forty-five LPs of European free
improvisation, free jazz, electronic music, and other new music by
Steve Beresford, Pierre Boulez, Anthony Braxton, Gavin Bryars, John
Cage, Alvin Curran, Anthony Davis, Globe Unity, Barry Guy, Gerry
Hemingway, Tom Johnson, Jo Kondo, Joan La Barbara, Steve Lacy, Paul
Lovens, Paul Lytton, Evan Stephen Scott, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Morton
Subotnick, Tibor Szemzo, Barry Truax and others available on auction
at ebay, including several VERY rare items like an album (never issued
on CD) of live recordings by Carla Bley Band, Philip Glass, Dewey
Redman, & Steve Reich; a 1980s FMP catalog with lots of photos and
a bilingual essay; a couple of back issues of the Improvisor, edited
by LaDonna Smith and Davey Williams, as well as other great vinyl on
FMP, hat Hut, ICP, Incus, JAPO, Moers, Nonesuch, Wergo, etc. Some
auctions end in a couple of days. More items are on the way for the
next month or two.
