Fred Lane

I see on the new Forced Exposure update that Alcohol's departing from el-ac to reissue Ron 'Pate & His Debonairs' 'Pataphysical Revue, with the Rev Fred Lane's whacked ramblings. I know I'm getting the CD eventually & maybe this'll answer my questions, but does anyone know much about the Fred Lane orbit? I really loved the LPs Shimmy-Disc put out & although there's not much to go on, the inner sleeve either has pictures of dozens of real Lane LPs or fake ones he made up. For the uninitiated, they're amazing collisions of big-band music, free jazz, and post-acid Dadaism. Chris Selvig
