I don't care so much for his harmolodic stuff
Man, I love that stuff. In the early 1980's, if you weren't into new-wave, the ONLY good stuff that came to DC and played the clubs was the punk/jazz stuff. Seeing R.S. Jackson and the Decoding Society, Blood Ulmer, Defunkt, etc. was the main saving grace of that period of time. I'm more partial to the Decoding Society, because I saw them the most times, but I love ALL that stuff. And that wonderful trio with Warren Benbow (drums) and Charles Burnham (violin). WOOOOHOOOO I even contacted R.S. Jackson about reissuing the unavailable Moers albums on CD, but that's another story for another time... Steve Cuneiform
