Hi! I recently found a bit of info on an album called "Loveman Plays Psychedelic Swing" by a group called Emergency! Apparantly, this the awesome drummer Yasuhiro Yoshigaki's band. Since it also has Otomo Yoshihide on guitar I'm hoping it's a bit in the vain of OY New Jazz Quintet. At least the compositions could easily have been played by that group (Bacharach, Mingus, Roland Kirk, etc..) So, anybody heard this disc or group???
