Though was it more bearable because the movie was better? Don't get me wrong, I was very entertained with LOTR, but they were not nearly as good as Ed Wood. NP: Howard Shore / Ornette Coleman Naked Lunch (O.S.T) I just realized today Shore is the guy who did all the Lord of the Rings Stuff hmmm) anyone see the Criterion Naked Lunch DVD???
I remember hearing the soundtrack to the Naked Lunch when the movie came out, but the CD was really hard to find at that time. Now I see it popping up everywhere, I guess it was reissued? Is there any difference from the original version?
And speaking of Howard Shore, I think his music to the Lords of the Rings movies was horrible... Many movies have crappy music, but rarely have I seen one where it is so bad that it made the movie painful to watch (plus the fact that it is waaaaay too long). It was not as bad in the second movie though, haven't seen the third one.
