Sure, I forgot to mention that Lindsay sings in Brazilian at some moments, which is a fabulous contrast with the dirty, punkish improvisations, specially considering that he speaks about some girl and how she moves her hips. It's lots of fun and very listeneable! I liked his Brazilian electronic-pop-bossa stuff up to "Noon Chill". I hated "Invoke" and I didn't even bother to listen to his latest album or check his live concert last week in Barcelona. However, I must say everyone was really satisfied with it. According to some of them, the band was really tight. Five hours to go. I just can think of Kang, Patton & co! Best, Efrén del Valle --- Sean Westergaard <seawes@allmusic.com> escribió:
i have to agree with Efren, the new locus solus recording is better and more fun than i would have imagined. i do like arto's art-damaged brazilian thing, but to hear him torturing his guitar again is a real treat, and he's pretty funny to boot. it's an avant good-time.

Although I never managed to get into the original Locus Solus (I think I've never listened it until the end), I find this new live recording amazing. Here I do hear rock as a true pillar of the group's sound and I feel it as some sort of threshold to Naked City or Painkiller. It sounds like an actual power trio, with amazing improvisations and heavy guitar skronk. This is the Arto I've wanted to listen for ages, unlike his electro-bossa-samba eluccubrations. Needless to say, Zorn's great and Fier has also been a nice surprise. I had only heard him with the Lizards, if I'm not wrong.
