Love Devotion Surrender does have Larry Young on it. I seem to remember his solo on the cut "A love Supreme" as being quite good, an interesting and understated contrast to the guitar solos. My favorate Mclaughlin was Devotion, with the rock and roll drumming power of Buddy Miles and, Larry Young kicking ass on the organ.
