Now-a-days it's more likely I'll listen to Beefheart over Zappa.

Even when I first put Trout Mask Replica in years ago and scratched my head going "What is THIS SHIT??!!???" and traded it in a few months later, the question of Beefheart vs. Zappa was never a hard one to answer.
