After the show you could sneak past those security dudes. I don't know how this is in NY f.e. but in Belgium you need some guts, preferably non-virgin, to reach your goal...
A minute later all the musicians where on the stage except Zorn :(
Then 3 minutes later Zorn came on stage and was in a very happy mood :)
He was really friendly, asking about my profession (cameraman, documentarymaker),
asked if i knew Gyor-the Hungarian stop on the tour, talked about NY, Tonic, ...
He seemed to understand that people are sometimes affraid to contact him, talk to him.
I've seen him swearing, hitting glasses of people's faces, so one must always be carefull ;)
but now it was a big hit, very enjoyable. Let this be said, he's a nice guy and a great composer!
Later i went to the pub next door, with about 150 Belgian Beers to taste,
and when i left all the posters where gone :(  Now i know Kevin has some of them!

Jan

ps: Many times i wonder what ikue is doing in the band-her sounds always sound the same, not very creative.
Sorry but that's my opinion.

Hi

I just got back from Belgium after the Electric Masada gig
Baron and Wollensen are incredible together
Ikeu Mori was disturbing :)
and J Z was in control.
my only critism was it was short
Total gig time 1:30 (with two encores)

managed to grab a couple of posters from a resturant down the road.

Jan : where did you met J Z ?

kevin
