Efrén (et. al): Mixed report. I haven't seen the band live, but did hear its limited edition CD of a few years back. Considering the line up it was a major disappointment. It was recorded at a NYC jam session and sounded that way - wheezy accordion, whinny sax, wimpy synth. That's too bad because De Rossi is a good Italian drummer and Krauss and Reichmann have done good work in other bands. However I did see Saft on his own at Tonic one night --playing guitar and with his wife singing -- at that was less than overwhelming. Might as well go see them. Maybe in a new (Euro)setting and with more years of experience the band will be much better. Don't give up going to see Trio Local or someone like that for KM though. regards, Ken Waxman --- Efrén del Valle <efrendv@yahoo.es> wrote: > Hi,
I see these guys are playing in Barcelona next Tuesday. Anyone know what Kriminal Museum is about? I think the keyboardist will be Anthony Coleman instead of Saft. I won't miss it but any orientations would be highly appreciated. This is the lineup:
zeno de rossi drums briggan krauss alto sax ted reichman accordion jaime saft analog synthesis
Thanks in advance.
Best,
