It's Spedding, for the record (I think you might have gotten him confused with the downtown sax/clarinet player ;)), and he is great. Was he the guitarist with Cale on Sabotage? Or was that Cale on lead guitar? -----Original Message----- From: zorn-list-bounces+zsteiner=butler.edu@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:zorn-list-bounces+zsteiner=butler.edu@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Tosh Sent: Tuesday, December 16, 2003 10:50 AM To: zorn-list@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Roxy Music I have the recent live Roxy Music DVD, and it's a great one. They do a lot of their old material - and it's done with a great deal of energy. The band is great - and they do all the classic early Roxy stuff. On the record - Bryan Ferry has said his favorite album (solo and band wise)is 'For Your Pleasure.' The other great guitar player besides Phil in the new version of Roxy is Chris Speeding (again, I maybe misspelling his last name wrong). He used to play with Cale in the late 70's and early 80's and I think beyond that era. -- Tosh Berman TamTam Books http://www.tamtambooks.com _______________________________________________ zorn-list mailing list zorn-list@mailman.xmission.com To UNSUBSCRIBE or Change Your Subscription Options, go to the webpage below http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/zorn-list
