I didn't think Dying Ground was around either. However, good ol' John Schuller emailed me a week or so ago and said that Dying Ground was in the works as an opener for Fantomas, but it hadn't been confirmed. Kang's "minimalist" rock stuff has been absolutely fantastic. Guy just keeps getting better and better in my opinion. Enjoy the show! -----Original Message----- From: Efrén del Valle [mailto:efrendv@yahoo.es] Sent: Friday, May 07, 2004 2:30 AM To: thegrandguignol@yahoo.com; zorn-list@mailman.xmission.com Subject: RE: Kang & Fantomas Hi, --- Matthew Garrington <thegrandguignol@yahoo.com> escribió: > Whomever sees Kang open for Fantomas, tell us how it
went! I've seen that guy a lot, but never as a solo artist.
I will that's for sure! I have great expectations.
Originally, Dying Ground was supposed to open up for Fantomas. Are they on any other Fantomas' gigs in Europe?
Not that I know. In fact, I thought Dying Ground were no longer working together. However, Kang has been playing extremely long improv stuff recently and DG might have something to do with it.
