RE: Beatles Reissues

i believe EMI still owns the masters, it was the publishing rights that michael jackson owns (owned?) Apple Rec? EMI? 'Wacko Jacko'? I thought he sold them & some other millionaire bought it, or I also thought Paul bought them back... Who does own the masters?
