Night Train .... .well, this may not be what you're looking for, but there's always been a special place in my heart for the Scofflaws, a great Moon Records ska band. They recorded a version of "Night Train" on their 1991 self-titled album.

Anyone have any recommendations for versions of the song "Night Train" other
than the oscar peterson or james brown versions. I'm trying to put together a
collection of these songs to go along with martin Amis' novel of the same name
for a gift to a friend (the main character talks about a collection of her own
creation with Georgie Fame, James Brown, Oscar Peterson).
thanks in advance for any suggestions
nathan
