Hi in new here and was going to lurk for a while but i could'nt putting in my two cents as nobody so far has mentioned the merzbox sampler! Although it's pre laptop stuff its a really good overview to get you heading in the merzbow direction of your choice. My personal favourite merz cd is the one he welded into the cd player of a merc.
