Amoeba Music for records, all the way. Good music here is sporadic -- sometimes we've got a world of stuff, and other times, it's not going on. Book stroes -- the Illiad s pretty amazing. It's in North Hollywood. Movie theaters? Pick up a paper when you're here. There's lots of amazing stuff, but it's not always where you'd think (ie the library, museums etc).
Best food in town -- Alergia On Sunset. Get the chicken mole.
