I am using itrip as well. I only use it in the car and when I want to really wow someone with playing something for them off a transistor radio. itrip had some issues with their first one, the second one is better tho not perfect, you are still dealing with an fm frequency range. I have found that if your battery is at about 1/4 you will get worse and worse broadcast quality. jt --- Kelley Kirkpatrick <KelKirkpatrick@cox.net> wrote:

I bought the original iPod when they first came out (ditto the burning house-inanimate object comment). The battery failed about a year after I bought it. They sent me a box to ship the defective one back, and rapidly sent a new one (same model) with the upgraded battery.
Is anyone else using iTrip to play through a car radio? One of my students turned me on to it after my cassette adaptor died (older car--no cd player), but I get a lot of static and it cuts out altogether at times. Any suggestions?
