Hey folks,
Probably a bit early for this, but does anyone know of any Zorn-related or
similar artists who have tours planned in Europe in the middle of the year?
I'm planning to be there July-August, wouldn't mind catching some
interesting music...

Also, any thoughts on the latest Dave Douglas 'Strange Liberation' (i.e. the
second quintet album, with Bill Frisell guesting on some tracks)? From the
little I've listened to it, seems like it's a solid album, but I must admit
I'm tiring a bit of Dave's current jazz/Miles/Blue Note thing - looking
forward to hearing something new. As for the Frisell guest-spot, it seems
like it should be a perfect match, but to me the results aren't quite so
convincing - eg. 'The Frisell Dream' sounded far better when I saw the
Quintet live a little while ago... but hey, I've only heard good things
about this album so maybe it's just me!
