I mean, there are many many other versions of those tunes, and listening to them without the usual sound quality reaveals another dimension of them. see, I do not want to have 'out to lunch' recorded digitally on super modern microphone hidden by some time traveller, I like it as it is. (OK, I'm exaggerating - if anyone has such a tape mail me and i give youy my entire family, a Poly 800, some mikes, etc) Marcin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Efrén del Valle" <efrendv@yahoo.es>
The "Taipei" subject has been discussed (and argued) lots of times here. I think the repertoire and the execution are amazing but it's hard for me to discern what's going on at certain points of the recording. i find the echo unbearable and Baron is so aggressive there that I can't get an overall impression about the sound.
