another good side project of The Ex is Kletka Red: Leonid Soybelman, Andy Ex, Tony Buck and Joe Williamson. They have released on Tzadik but are a far better live band. a real blast is the Ex Orkest with ICP musicians and Jaap Blonk... Andreas np: Roberto Rodriguez - El Danzon De Moises (Tzadik) great!
Like Sonic Youth, Boredoms and The Ex both have a huge pack of side projets. Unlike SY, almost all of them are worth checking out, but it would be too much for me to get into here...
