Since I'm heavily into tattooing, my favourite is definitely "The Tattoo Murder Case" by Akimitsu Takagi. His other works are okay, but don't come close to the former. Just checked my books database quickly, and also remember enjoying the following title: Seicho Matsu- moto "Inspector Imanishi Investigates".
Almost forgot!: My favouritefavouritefavourite crime story is definitely Miyuki Miyabe's "All She Was Worth". I've bought copies of this book for many friends, and each one of them loved it.
