I picked up Under the Wing the other day thinking I was getting Three Documentaries. I was a tad out of it that night and I had already unwrapped it when I realized. I really love the vocal tracks (I wish there were more), it really adds to the compositions. The piano track is very similar to Bar Kokhba tracks with piano, somewhat of a jazz feel. Overall the album has a similar tone to that of Trembling Before G-d, just with the trio instead of the organ/piano and clarinet. Even though I purchased it in error (the last three Filmworks covers look too similar), I'm happy that I purchased it. It's wonderful, but not essential. Is there any notable difference? How much to the extra voice and piano guests change the sounds and are Zorn's compositions still up to snuff? Cheers! _________________________________________________________________ Unlimited Internet access -- and 2 months free!
