I got mad about 'penny lane' this summer - the tune is absolutely marvelous, somewhere between a cabaret song, a rock tune, a jazz song - all those influences are mixed up ingenously. But all the tunes on the album are great - 'i'm the walrus', the MMT, 'fool on the hill', 'hello goodbye'... In fact, that's the only beatles album I like as a whole. Sgt.P has some merits, but is weaker as a whole. ' Your opinion will make me give Revolver another try, though - my dad has the entire discography both on LP and CD, so I think i can borrow the LP he does not listen to anymore marcin
For "Penny Lane" and "Strawberry Fields", I'll give you best single. But I'm adamant about REVOLVER.

Besides, REVOLVER is arguably the greatest album ever made by white people.
