I can think of a lot of things that I've seen in the last six months that were better. Off the top of my head: Satoko Fujii Quartet, The Necks, Spring Heel Jack w/Wadada Leo Smith, Burkhard Stangl/Michael Moser... I've been disappointed the last two times I've seen Zorn perform (the other time was "The Gift" at the Barbican). Where's the sense of danger, of something *new*?
