My money goes to the Grammy-nominated Gary Lucas. Not only can he tackle about any genre, but he does so exceedingly well. His fingers must contain bullets to move as fast as they do across the frets. Has anyone here ever seen him in concert?
Never seen him, but I have a live recording of him doing Albert Ayler's "Ghosts" on a steel guitar on my "Live at the Knitting Factory Vol. 2" record. It's great. But then, that whole record is pretty interesting. Joey Baron playing keyboards, a LOT of synth, and one of the best "Foxy Lady" covers ever. _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 with e-mail virus protection service: 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virus
