I recommend:
Elegy (creepy chamber music)
The Classic Guide to Strategy (solo sax, clarinet & game calls -- exhausting and exciting at the same time)
Xu Feng (high-energy combative game piece)

It's worth noting that even though live performances -- trio, sextet, quartet -- continue, the Masada book was written 7-10 years ago. I'd call it middle-period rather than recent.
