I don't know much about The Ex, but for the Boredoms... well, if you want the old spazz stuff, more disjointed/cut-ups, go for either Pop Tatari, Chocolate Synthesizer, or Wow 2. The more recent discs are kraut influenced, psychedelic, taking cues from bands like the Mekons or Amon Duul 2, more cohesive and similar throughout. Really strong releases are Super Roots 7, Super Æ, and Vision Creation Newsun. But really you can't go wrong with the Boredoms. Bruno
