Dave Douglas New Quintet

Hello, I'm thinking of going to see Dave Douglas at San Sebastian this summer but I've never heard anything from the New Quintet. I've seen Tiny bells trio and also Witness live and I love them both. Also I love the Charms of the Night Sky CD. So, what can I expect from the New Quintet and from the other concert he's giving? (with Mengelberg, Jones, Bennink) I think I'll go see all three concerts but I still don't about how expensive the concerts are so... Also, if anyone knows where/how to get scores from Masada and other Zorn or Dave Douglas music, it'd be a great help. YOUR PASSWORD In order to get your password, go to the new zorn-list web page http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/zorn-list Enter your email address under the "Options for the zorn-list" heading and press the Edit Options button. At that point, under the "Your zorn-list Password" heading press the button titled "Email My Password to Me" DIGESTS Also, some folks have asked what the digest mode is. You can receive individual emails from list members one at a time as they are sent (normal mode) or you can receive in batchs known as digests. LIST ADMINISTRATION With Mailman YOU are now even more responsible for subscribing and unsubscribing yourself, which you should do from the above listed web page. NOTE: the URL for the list is included in the header of EVERY SINGLE email sent out by the Mailman list software, in case you have misplaced it. Unfortunately, it looks like Mailmans ability to keep administrative requests from going out to the entire zorn-list is weaker than majordomo. can't figure out a movie (post-apocalyptic a la PANIC IN YEAR ZERO)

I have tried for a long time to figure out a movie that I watched twenty years ago. The movie was done in the seventies and it is about a group of people (a family? friends?) who flee a big town because of some terrible accident (nuclear? biologic?). On their way to a refuge in the countryside, they are constantly attacked by outlaws who take advantage of the disarray in which the society has fallen following the accident. No, I am not talking about Ray Milland's PANIC IN THE YEAR ZERO. It is a very similar story, but was done at least ten years after. Does it ring a bell? Does anyboby know the name of that movie? It seemed that this was achieved by a combination of factors including possessing very high quality graphics, accurate movement, editing, and the textures that were used (Spiderman looked almost real because of the texture of his costume, Goblin not as much). There were times where I forgot that I was seeing CGI. It was very well integrated with the live action, seamlessly blended from my estimation. Zach
