About the pre-release party, I asked Yello Office why it was not announced to all fans etc well in advance. Here is the reply:

"The launch party was basically for free and for everbody. People with the personal invitation card had a reserved space. Others, with an entry card, distributed by local radios and the like, were let in before the ones who just dropped by to get in. As the club has limited space, we did not want to advertise the event even more than the club already did. It was crowded, but people had a lot of fun."

I was also told that they didn't want to take any risk that some fans may travel from far away to Zurich, and then maybe not be able to enter!

There was NO "previously unreleased music" played, the DJ (Ian Pooley) played from a selection of 30 12" singles he borrowed from Boris, and actually not so much from THE EYE. 500 promotional CDs were handed out to everyone at the party, containing 5 tracks from THE EYE - something for the collectors on this list!
