To make things much more simple I have added RSS to the YELLO Forum. http://julzdesign.com/yelloforum/rss.php With OS X you can use such great apps as Net Newswire http://ranchero.com/software/ There is a free version there called Net Newswire Lite. As far as which one is a good one for windows I don't know. If anyone knows please post it. Julian
Hm, Julian, something seems to wrong here. My IE (latest version, XP; sorry...) shows the sourcecode of your php page. Or does it work on Macintosh only? yeah that is what it will look like if you open it in a browser You have to use a special RSS reader for it to look correctly. Try going to http://www.versiontracker.com and search for RSS. It will bring up a number of apps you can try. There are a number of free ones on there. RSS is a great way to check news or status of sites that offer it. Virtually everybody offers RSS feeds these days, BBC, CNN, etc.. Here are a couple of free ones I looked up http://www.feedreader.com/ http://www.wildgrape.net/ Anyone know of better apps then these for win? Download one of those then subscribe to my link: http://julzdesign.com/yelloforum/rss.php and viola! Julian On Oct 28, 2004, at 12:03 PM, Franz Gall wrote:
