Re: Yello Digest, Vol 11, Issue 23
For the record, until quite recently, Boris used an Atari computer for sequencing. His primary piece of gear is STILL the Fairlight (Yello was the first Swiss customers of the now-defunct sampler manufacturer). If anyone is interested, I have a complete kit list that I can post. It's about 3 years old, but it gives a pretty thorough idea of how Yello gets a lot of their sounds. And alas...Mac's 20th anniversary. Not a computer for everyone, but then again not everyone drives a Lamborghini either. Typing from my 1 Ghz eMac, Michael On Jan 24, 2004, at 1:35 AM, yello-request@mailman.xmission.com wrote:

I would like to congratulate all Mac users on this list with the
20th anniversary of Apple Macintosh Computers
Give your mac a pat on it's designer case and a big hug!
And for those of you who claim this has nothing to do with Yello...
I'm congratulating Boris as well... yep he's a mac-user.
And I guess he has proven enough that beautiful things happen when a mac is somehow involved.
Rene
