Ofcourse it's a pity that it wasn't in english, since I don't think that the majority of this list is from Scandinavia. Interesting as I have this book. If anyone is interested about it let me know. Danish? Hmmm.. Lurkin durken burken. Not quite. Hey Rene. How did you save this track to disk? CALLING 4 YELLO!!!! Hey I am getting more and more aggravated by the fact that there are no comments or contribution from Dieter or Boris. I can only just imagine how busy they are as I myself work 16 hours a day, mostly 7 days. There are many of you who are in a similar situation. They are obviously very computer literate-it's safe to assume this isn't it? It takes as long as it takes me. Sweet FA. Sure I have a pile of things to do, a line of people waiting to cause me trouble and a house and family to also take care of. I know that they can do it. I accept that they do not participate, but even on an irregular basis? It seems that there are some serious fans among us, who no doubt deserve the small amount of input from them. I'm sure they could afford to pay an imposter to relay for them at the least!!!! Yada Yada Yada....... That's enough complaining from me, any one else wanna go... I just moved five hundred miles away. I've been unplugged for five days, just getting back online today. And now I see that there has been a serious, no-kidding /coup/ in my absence. yello.technologypimps.com is /dead, dead, dead/ for the time being. I have a backup of all verified content [meaning to the exclusion of "/uploads"] as of wednesday, the 16th of this month instant. FOR NOW IT IS DEAD, but fear not! A brand new server is in the making, and will be up for service [hopefully] very soon. I apologize profusely for the serious inconvenience. This was totally outside of my control, let alone my radar! --gcr ------------------------------ Message: 5 Date: Tue, 29 Jul 2003 10:26:17 +0200 From: "Rene" <t013463@tip.nl> Subject: Re: [Yello] I am back, but ftp is still pending... Be ready to get stormed as soon as the FTP is up again, with requests for access :-) In your absence I've posted a message asking people to wait with their questions and requests, until further notice on the status of the FTP. Many are eager to acces our Holy Grail. whenever I hear Bimbo, I have to hear Night Flanger, and can't just stop before Reverse Lion, because I also want to listen to Downtown Samba, and while that's playing I eagerly wait for Magneto to start and blend into Massage, before I'm pulled towards Assistant's cry and prepare my fingers to skip Bostich, to simply jump to Rock Stop and have a good time, while I know Coast To Polka is waiting to take me to Blue Green and Eternal Legs and to have a meltdown as Stanztriggers rolls down my spine, to end up with a good laugh and Solid Pleasure Chill Out as Bananas To The Beat finishes it off.

Ha, ha! On another topic: Just for the record, I'm switching the email address where I recieve my Yello list mail. It's now citizenthayne@yahoo.com. The previous address I was using (wildthayne@earthlink.net) is still active and quite busy. I can be reached at either one. Cheers! -Bob __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Hello. The title of the single has changed from "Electric Look" to "Planet Dada". Apparently it has some "dadaistic" vocals and no real vocals to speak of, and they thought it would be a better title.
First out is a promotional 12" which will be sent out to clubs from around 12th August on. Track listing is:
The Race 2003 (Tomcraft on Yello) 6.31 [remixed by Tomcraft] Planet Dada (Northern Lite remix) 4.51 [remixed by Northern Lite] Planet Dada (Futuristic Funk) 4.34 [remixed by Håkan Lidbo]
This looks like the saga of the ever-changing song titles. Håkan Lidbo had originally said on his web site that he was producing 'Future Past', so that makes two title changes now. I notice that on his web site <www.music2productions.com/roster/hakanlidbo_discog.html> he has given up on naming the song, referring to it only as 'the first single of this legendary Swiss duo'.
A commercial 12" is planned in September, but nothing is 100% set.
A preliminary release date for the CD-single is set to 20 October, but it could be earlier too, maybe also later. All tracks on the 12" are planned to be included on the CD-single, although the Tomcraft version is likely to be an edited (shorter) version.
The preliminary release date for the album (THE EYE) is set to 3 Nov, but could be earlier.
I will let you all know as soon as I get more info.
All the best/Jonas W
