Well, I have to say, that I disagree very much! Some of the Yello videos are the best music videos I have ever seen. Most of the videos by other people have the same formula, a couple of dancing girls and the band trying to look tough while lip-syncing. Yello's videos are more like visual poems, like "Vicious games" and "Of course I'm lying", which is the most beautiful music video ever. I especially like their earlier videos. No wonder one of Dieter's videos was on display in a well-known New York museum of modern art. -- Jussi Salmi http://staff.cs.utu.fi/~jussalmi/
visual poems are an interestign way of looking at it. might i suggest you check out the most recent offering from yello, plannet dada for referances to what we are on about. For other examples of the style check out on track, jungle bill, and i think how how is in a simmilar vien. With a handfull of examples, such as those you mention most are in a style thats very blocky in nature shaun -----Original Message----- From: yello-bounces+sajt=tvsched.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:yello-bounces+sajt=tvsched.com@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of Jussi Salmi Sent: Thursday, 6 January 2005 12:56 AM To: The moon: beautiful.
