Yes you can hear it in Don Turbulento(The Eye) from 3:50-4:05 and in Downtown Samba(Solid Pleasure) from 2:00-2:33 Can't tell if it's the same lyrics but he is saying them in the same manner. , Jonathan Arno wrote:
In The Eye's Don Turbelento,Dieter uses a part of the same lyrics as on Solid Pleasure. I think it was track 5 or 6.(Magneto?) That very slow hypnotic trip. He said something like: Akiadabiliberty..enz.. or something..(lol)(hard to explain in letters)
Yeah, i noticed that too. But I didn't think it was exactly the same, in Solid Pleasure he says something like "akialargiotelevisione...", but it's very close. Sounds Italian, but I can't recognise the words.
In a way it is interesting... very interesting indeed. After I had a chance to listen to The Eye Promo, so a couple of months before it was released officially, I wrote a review and posted it also to this list. There was no response. Obvious perhaps since only a few had heard the full monty at that time. Now, after the official release things get running and details of the tracks surface on this list. The essence of this is something that happens rather frequently on this list. And it makes me wonder how much is actually read by all it's members... Sometimes it seems that when a message exceeds the five sentences border it is nothing but a waste of time and server space. Or am I wrong, or am I just too serious about the subject called Yello and all it drags along? Rene
Sorry, Rene but I did not read your whole mail. I only got to the fifth line ;-) Well, I have to defend the listmembers. Maybe it is better to join a music-dicsussion when you own the album. But it is not easy to get the CD outside of Europe. As you have read, there are some dicussions going on, because there are now more members that own the CD (or even have the mp3) Yours, Georg

It's funny... (?!) But it's a couple of times now I'm listening The Eye and its fabulous sound fulling my living room and everytime I'm listening it, I can catch the feeling to listen to some spy music film... PLANET DADA MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE theme in the main melody. JUNIOR B James Bond track next generation. TIGER DUST Propellerheads influence (they made a remix of James Theme too). In general I can hear the album like a mission for the spy we are all about... ;) GREG
Yes - I made my husband listen to the samples on Kazaa, and he said the same thing. I've felt that way about other songs of theirs, like - oh crap I lost the title. He's standing in the rain, the woman walks up and asks for a light, he pretends to be searching in his pocket - that song. Sounds like an old noir spy movie to me. I also dig that Propellerhead, they have Shirley Bassey too! -----Original Message----- From: yello-bounces+tourguide=austexecotours.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:yello-bounces+tourguide=austexecotours.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of VIALLE Gregory Sent: Thursday, December 11, 2003 1:30 PM To: 'The moon: beautiful.
