RE: [Yello] False Claims of Yello's Demise
Well the last album that was commercially available here in Vancouver was Zebra. I got my copy of The Eye when my sister-in-law bought it in the UK and brought it over for me. There's some good stuff to be found occasionally in the used record stores, though. Glad I didn't toss my Record Player (aka turntable to you younger types ;-) /RF ________________________________ From: yello-bounces+rfiler=sierrawireless.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:yello-bounces+rfiler=sierrawireless.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Mark Pearce Sent: Thursday, June 16, 2005 10:53 AM To: The moon: beautiful. Subject: Re: [Yello] False Claims of Yello's Demise Hi... good to hear that yello is not the way out, but in the UK I'm starting to find it hard to find some cd's like for example Motion Picture. bought it in the Kiev only place I saw it, with Russian Copy right written on it. might have to start looking on the net videos and singles it's a pain sometimes trying to find yello in the shops. I am also not so up on the technical aspect of file formats etc, but it is fascinating. I'm just happy that it works, and how much easier all this has made obtaining the precious products of Boris and (I bet you were thinking I'd say Natasia-Rocky and Bullwinkle fan) Dieter. It is also disheartening to see how much of it is unobtainable here on the other side of the 'pond' Also, it's good to see more support and input on the board. Perhaps if more people post their inability to buy Yello via the legal and above board channels, someone (read promoters-record lable) will start to do something about it. I still think there should be a YELLO MUSIC CLUB, where active members can buy directly online, or at least order from online at ONE source, instead of having to search ebay, and all the different labels that release(d) The albums and singles. Greetings from Scotland!
I have gotten all of my yello cd's from Edinburgh from the usual music superstores. But when my house was burgled and all of my priceless yello collection was nicked (swines!) I restocked in Amsterdam of all places. They had all of the albums.
This is my first comments, and would like to thank all of you for your info. I find it amazing how you find it all!
P.s am just learning with all this techno so find all of the previous 'discussions' about formats very amusing. I don't know how all of it works but just glad to get it!

shouldn't that be the other way 'round? Laurens van Graft The Grip Guy All your gymnastics grip needs right here! Abolish Daylight Savings Time; it's past its usefulness, and I'm tired. On Jun 16, 2005, at 1:58 PM, Rory Filer wrote:
