Glenn, From what I was told after the event by telephone from people who had seen the show. The presentation was a film. No actual "live" performances took place during this film. But the film was shot as if you were in a theater. In the film you could see theater seats and such. On the movie screen in the film they played music videos to new Touch Yello tracks and also The Race II and Oh Yeah Oh Six. But on stage (still in the film) there were interactions from Boris , Dieter, Heidi and Till. Before the film Till Broenner played live and so did Heidi Happy. Boris sat in the audience while Dieter played MC during the event. At various times boxes of CDs (digi-paks) were available for purchase. , Jonathan
Perfect, fantastic, unreal are the first words that pop up in my head after attending the event. Got nice seats and just sat there and waited eagerly for what would happen. Then Boris shows up, just a few seats in front of us, we got a glimpse of one of the technofathers and already the evening was saved. Boris were happy to sign autographs and even share a word or two. Dieter came in and presented everything, seeing both Dieter and Boris in real life was just cool. It might sound too fan'ish but the feeling was already at that point - wow. Till's performance on the Trumpet was amazing, wretching sound out of the trumpet like it was easiest thing in the world, what a great and unique sound he has. Heidi, also just amazing, even if all female yello singers have always been top notch, Heidi takes the #1 spot in my oppinion. The movie was soo great, can't wait to get my hands on it. Hope they'll produce it in super surround DTS quality. Kino international seemed like the perfect place for the event itself. I had the feeling the it was an event that Yello and their guests also enjoyed, like a private arrangement were one felt welcome. Looking back now, seeing the pictures and the video clips, it almost seems unreal that one was there beeing a part of this, once in a lifetime, experience. /John
