Chris, I agree it is probably the best quality version of "Bostich" available. http://julzdesign.com/yelloforum/viewtopic.php?p=556#556 ,Jonathan

Is it good? Lame as hell. It's just a barely-mixed [segued] compilation cd, which includes a standard issue version of Bostich. I detect no "amazing quality" - certainly nothing more amazing than what can be had with any other copy of the track.

Why do i feel all this hostility about trolling and crap. I don't think is trolling anyway. And I don't want to go in to that any further! But I do agree about the quality of the mix. It's nothing amazing or anything. It seems to be mixed Hotter (Louder?) but that seems to be about it. Maybe the newly added sounds gives it an illusion of being a higher quality? Sorry I should have been clearer. Is the Jill Sander version good, not the Fashion week version. I don't care for the loud scream at the beginning of the Fashion Week version.

OK I got it. The Jill Sander show version seems to be different only in the mixing at the end of the track but at least I know :-) Anyone get a chance to listen to the Felix version I posted?
Yeah just did. It's alright. Nothing extraordinary. But definitely good for the dancefloor. I like Felix. His new album is weak compared to the Glitz album. Also didn't he go to court because "Felix the Cat" people wanted him to change his name? I guess he won. jul On Dec 22, 2004, at 1:23 PM, Chris Klein wrote:

I am a Felix addict. I couldn't find anything about a lawsuit but it sounds plausible. I really enjoyed Devin Dazzle but I can see where some may be dissappointed. Tracks like "Let your mind be your bed" and " Hunting Season" are songs that I will still be listening to until I'm old and grey. If there is anyone in this group who happens to be interested in Felix Da Housecat and wants some livesets or albums, just let me know. I've been collecting his music for a while now so I have accumulated a lot of stuff. Anyhow I need to find some new Yello songs. I didn't really care for the songs that played on the Yello website but maybe I need to listen to them again. BTW there is an e-bay auction on a 12" Bostich record right now and here is what the auction says. "Original pressing of Yello's Bostich, as sampled by Ruffneck on 'Everybody Be Somebody'". Anyone hear this Ruffneck song? I'm going to try to find it. Yeah just did. It's alright. Nothing extraordinary. But definitely good for the dancefloor. I like Felix. Hmmm. I wonder if that is the same record my husband has that I don't like. We had an 'argument' once over one of his precious house records when I told him there was a Yello sample on it. He refused to believe me until I played it for him. Then he tried to tell me Yello sampled that... Oooh noo he should have known better than that. I whipped out the publication date (while giving him the Evil Eye) and of course it came before his dumb little record. I think he has finally learned better than to disagree with me (openly), ha ha. -----Original Message----- From: yello-bounces+tourguide=austexecotours.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:yello-bounces+tourguide=austexecotours.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Chris Klein Sent: Wednesday, December 22, 2004 1:10 PM To: 'The moon: beautiful. I do love the first KMFDM album. The later ones sound great but haven't been able to get in to them. Even though I love industrial type music. Front 242 is one of my very favorite bands! But just something about that first KMFDM... it's more experimental then the others. I did go see them live once and they were quite good. The audio system they had set up is still one of the best I heard besides Kraftwerk and PSB. It was soooo bassy! Luckily I had earplugs :) I remember getting a beer and going in front of the speaker. While drinking the beer you feel it fuzz up from the bass inside you :) Julz On Dec 22, 2004, at 2:23 PM, Chris Klein wrote:

Ha ha! Awesome! I had a similar experience with Moby's Everything Is Wrong tour in Portland Oregon, sans beer. Megathump is good in doses! One of the things I love about KMFDM is sorta tangental and extra, extra off topic - but the cover art by Brute! has always grabbed me by the chuckle knuckle. Art For The Working Comrade! Yeah I agree,
I got a copy of the Yello - Pocket Universe cd a few minutes ago and I am totally jamming. This CD takes a couple of tracks to build and then all of the sudden it's like BAMM!!! I am so happy I found Yello. They went from a band I didn't even know to like one of my favorite bands in 1 day.

The bostich remix (http://www.soundclick.com/bands/9/dividianmusic.htm), All I Want To Do Is Rush, they started with some ok syncopation on the snare, interesting (if drug induced) change of the lyric/vocal. Had potential, wanted it to develop. Wanted more punch.

Which song are you referring to Tasha? When you say you want more?

What's funny is, as a new Yello fan, all I did was a Yahoo search and a page or two into it I found said link. Seriously, if anyone here likes what they hear, they should buy it cuz this "band" rocks. I have already purchased ( 3 ) items on Ebay just from hearing what Yello has to offer. :-) ----- Original Message ----- From: <organism@hydrophilus.com> To: "yello-list" <yello@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Friday, December 24, 2004 10:47 AM Subject: [Yello] switches in bostiches

BTW, if anyone is having problems aquiring certain tacks, let us know. Someone may be able to help. In addition, if anyone is interested in any Felix Da Housecat livesets, inclusive of the one which features the speeded up version of Bostich, let us know and someone can help :-) Merry Xmas ----- Original Message ----- From: "chris" <chris@baswest.com> To: "The moon: beautiful.
