Hey, I've had a chance to listen to the remaster of Flag. There is a little strangeness on the remaster. This is hard to explain but I will give it a try. One of the 3 extra tracks is The Race (Break Light Mix) I couldn't wait to hear it so I went directly to it. Here is the first bit of weirdness. The Race (Break Light Mix) is missing the first 19 seconds of the song. Then later after listening to the rest of the album I found the missing 19 seconds. They added it to the end of Tied Up In Gear. Then after further investigating I noticed that the siren at the beginning of Tied up in Gear starts on the end of Tied Up In Red. Of course when you listen to the tracks in order they all blend together. Which is another bit of weirdness. Tied up in Gear blends flawlessly into The Race (Break Light Mix) which didn't come out until 11 years later on Eccentrix Remixes. Hmmmm? wonder if it was meant to be on Flag originally. By the way. I have had a chance to listen to 3 of the remastered albums so far. You Gotta..., One Second and Flag. One Second is my favorite so far. It really seams like you are listening to new songs. You hear things you never noticed before and the volume is huge I can't turn it all the way up in the car. It really gives your speakers a work out. When you first listen to some of the songs there is a little disappointment because they don't sound they way you remember them. Then after listening you realize Yeah they sound much better!!! Someone else mentioned that they always thought Yello songs were a little quiet. Well not any more. That's one thing you will notice on all these tracks. The volume is huge. The drums that kick in on You Gotta Say Yes To Another Excess after "seven, eight, nine" Blah blah blah blah blah. To use a technical term "KICK ASS" Well that's all for now, Jonathan

They added it to the end of Tied Up In Gear. There are a couple dozen disks in my collection that have this same issue. It is nothing more than bad mastering of the disk structure, most likely the sloppy work of someone in the production plant.
Or, depending on the source of your mystery copy of the disk, someone with bad duping software.

Please! The sound of that track is waaaaay too new, even for Boris, to have been made during the time frame you suggest. It's just bad CD mastering, and before you pop an iCork, I doubt that it's Boris' doing --gcr
