Jonas, I talked with someone at Extreme Music. The 3 sneak peak tracks are postponed till the end of the week or maybe even Monday. They will be 1 minute snipits of 3 of the 30 tracks that Boris is releasing in mid March. The 30 tracks will only be available for license by professionals. Eventually by summer they say all 30 tracks will be available to the public on iTunes for a limited time. So stay tuned to their Facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/extrememusic?sk=wall
A strange concept. What are the "professionals" supposed to do with the 30 tracks? On Thu, Jan 12, 2012 at 10:20 AM, Jon Kamm <kammagic@comcast.net> wrote:

Guys,.. This is stock music. People who need music for tv,radio or other media. Like you see a program about rafting in a wild river. They,(the editor, ) needs action music. And they choose stockmusic from ,..in this case, Extreem music. I used to do that. Extreem music is one of the best labels for stock music. Greetz 2012/1/12 Franz Gall <franz.gall@gmail.com>

Yes sounds like it. There were vinyl LPs in the 80s for this purpose called library LPs. It did not sound like samples to me, as they were going to give away 1 min excerpts, but also not like “normal” music. I guess Boris had really fun doing this. But not Dieter. /JW From: Arno Natte Sent: Thursday, January 12, 2012 11:09 AM To: The moon: beautiful. The sun: even more beautiful. Subject: Re: [Yello] 30 new tracks Guys,.. This is stock music. Thanks to special Yello agent Jon. Makes me wonder if these "tracks" are really what music fans mean by "tracks", or "samples", since it's for "professionals". Or why else would they postpone sales to the public and only sell for a limited time? /JW
