Hi to everyone ! I'm a newcomer to this list, just surfed the internet and accidentally found it :-) I've recently found some Yello samples from commercial tunes. I don't know if they've been mentioned here before... Blank And Jones - Desire - the "oh-oh" -sample from Oh Yeah is clearly heard sometimes at the background. Club Beats Series 5 Vol 3 CD1 Ruffneck - Everybody Be Somebody (Positano Mix) - the "everybody - need somebody !" -shout is used in the background of the female singer. DJ Tiesto - Magik_Journey Incl Tiesto Old School Trance Remix - Promo CDS Magik Journey (Tiesto old school trance remix) - the few first seconds (which is intro-part) uses some background noises which are for certain from a Yello -tune, but I cannot remember what that is. Modern Talking - America 01 - Win The Race - and, of course, they've used the vocal "radio commentary"-sample from Yello's The Race which goes something like this "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, this is Benny McClasky from Palm Springs reporting for.... " and so on.. Savage Garden - To The Moon & Back - uses a radio-like -sample which at least sounds very much the same as the one on Poom Shanka (Zebra) at 2:07 well as you can guess, I listen to Yello actively and I've been a fan for ten years now... (I was at the age of 14 when I first heard Oh Yeah, Tied Up and The Race --> immediately hooked to the Yello-sound ;-) ) Take Care ! - Tony Caven
